Petite Delft Blue Kakiemon
"Kakiemon" is the name given to the iconic Japanese porcelain painting style invented by Sakaida Kizaemon in the mid-17th century. He is known for color drawings of plants, animals and people, while among the shades dominated by a bright red pigment, reminiscent of the color of a ripe persimmon. The works of Kizaemon were especially liked by the Dutch East India Company. This Petite chunk® symbolizes following the call of the heart and the talent to find non-standard solutions.
